10/4/10 Katie's Healthy Eating Journal: Monday

by Katie (Jenny Craig 2009 Poster Girl) 5. October 2010 17:39

Yesterday I felt nauseous all day for some strange reason.  At first I thought it was something I ate after lunch but the feeling just would not go away.  By the late evening I was still  feeling pretty nauseous but chalked it up to either something I had eaten or morning sickness rearing it's ugly head again.  But, then my the middle of the night I knew it was more than just something I ate.  I was fighting the urge to throw up everytime I woke up.  By this morning, before breakfast had even begun I had thrown up twice.  I didn't have any fever or chills my back just ached from the harshness of puking.  Sadly I had already gotten completely ready for school (I absolutely HATE calling off - especially because I was giving my poor sub such late notice!).  Even better yet...have you heard how pregnant women cannot control their bladder the last few weeks of pregnancy?  Well, I definitely had proved this theory correct; I peed all over the floor, not once but TWICE.  Can we say frustrating, aggravating, and embarrassing?!  Luckily I continue to have an incredible husband that knew I didn't feel well and was kind/thoughtful enough to clean it up.  Wow, now that's love.  He has proven yet time and again throughout this whole experience how empathetic and loving he really is.  I didn't even need to ask for help - he was already there.  It didn't seem like a virus so I called my doctor but all she said was, "Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate."  I went ahead and researched if any other women got sick right before they went into labor.  Many of the sites I found were just forum's, not very reliable, but many of them said that 24-48 hours later they were in labor.  Hmmm I guess we will find out if my symptoms were a virus or signs of labor...

No food journal today due to being so sick.  I lived off toast and G2 today.
